HAWAIIAN GARDENS residents – bring your over-sized and bulky waste for disposal – FREE of charge. You MUST be a Hawaiian Gardens resident to participate (bring proof of residency, such as photo ID).
WHEN: Saturday, March 28, 2026; 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., or until bins are full
WHERE: on Civic Center Dr., between Pioneer and Juan Ave.
YES BRING: trash, furniture, appliances, yard waste, and general household debris.
DON’T BRING: hazardous waste, used motor oil, tires, concrete, dirt, medical waste, pharmaceutical waste, automotive/marine parts, or single items that cannot be safely handled by two people.
NO commercial-size U-haul trucks or commercial-size rented vehicles.
NO construction and/or clean-out waste.
YES BRING: Your own containers or buckets for compost (no bags); limit 50 gallons per vehicle.
NO trailers or commercial vehicles for compost event; pick-up trucks or cars only.
