Roll-Offs & Compactors

Roll-Off and Compactor Box Services

for all your recycling and disposal applications

Waste Resources provides roll off service for all recycling and disposal applications, including custom compactor boxes manufactured to suit your equipment.  Waste Resources holds exclusive franchise agreements with the Cities of Carson, Gardena, Hawaiian Gardens, Lynwood, and Zone C in the City of Glendale.  This means that Waste Resources is the only company authorized to collect material for a fee from temporary or regular roll-off and compactor services.

In most cases, the fees for this service include a haul charge and a dump fee.  Should your box weight exceed the legal road limit of 10 tons, we reserve the right to refuse service.  A “Trip Charge” will result and/or an additional “Overweight Fee” may be charged.  Contact Customer Service at 888-467-7600 for more information.

FAQs

Unfortunately, no.  State law requires proper separation of solid waste by these major segments: recyclables, mixed organics, construction/demolition, and trash.

Regular roll-off and compactor services need to meet the same requirements as all other waste generators in California.  See our SB1383 page for more information.

After all recycling efforts have been exhausted, the little bit that’s left over can be set out as trash.  In addition, single commodity loads tend to cost you less, so be sure to recycle right!

As a general rule, any toxic or hazardous waste will not be accepted.  Items such as paint, herbicides, pesticides, asbestos, oil, appliances with Freon, and chemicals must be handled through a hazardous waste hauler.

Tires are also not permitted to be mixed with trash, recycling, or organics loads.  If you have a lot of tires, we can pick those up as “tire-only” loads.

WR can collect e-waste for recycling, but it must be separate from mixed trash, recycling, or organics loads.

Roll-offs are best placed on hard level surfaces such as concrete and asphalt. The box may be placed on hard dirt but keep in mind that it can get stuck after a heavy or long steady rain.

Keep in mind that roll-offs have metal wheels, which can damage the surface on which they are placed.  If damage to your surface area is a concern, you might want to use a protective board, such as plywood to protect it from scratches and scrapes.

This type of container is typically used for large household cleanup and junk/trash removal, remodeling/construction debris and cleanout, roofing and driveway replacements and large yard clean up projects.

WR is only closed for six service days per year.  For a schedule, visit our Holidays page.
