Sharps Recycling Kit
needles, lancets, and other sharps
Three easy steps to conveniently and responsibly dispose of needles, lancets, and other sharps:
- Call WR to request a free Sharps Kit (container, pre-paid postage label, and form), which will be delivered to your home the following week.
- Fill the container with Sharps.
- Sign the form included in the side pocket of the kit and mail the container by using the pre-paid postage label provided.
Residents will receive one (1) free Sharps Mail-Back Kit, with additional kits available for a nominal co-pay. Limit one (1) kit at a time.
Old medications can be safely disposed at HHW roundups or select locations in and near the City. Visit the DEA’s website for a current list.
