Celebrate America Recycles Day early this year by recycling your old electronics – computers, TVs, copiers, VCRs, cell phones, DVD and Blu-Ray players, and microwaves – and commit to caring for the environment on October 21, 2023.
You can also recycle your confidential documents safely and conveniently at this event. All paper will be shredded onsite. Shredding may end before 12:00 p.m. if paper capacity is reached early.
- Proof of Carson residency required
- NO commercial or business waste will be accepted
- Limit three (3) file/paper boxes per resident for shredding
- Limit five (5) items/systems per account for e-waste
That week (October 16-20) is also Clean Environment Week where, on your regular service day, residential cart customers have the opportunity to set out up to three 30-gallon bags each of trash, recycling, and organics at no additional charge, as well as up to four bulky/e-waste items. These extra pickups still need to be scheduled by phone up to noon the day before your regular service day, but will not count towards your limit.
