Semi-Annual Cleanup Starts in Gardena on Feb. 14

2025-26 Holiday Tree Recycling Dates Set

We make it easy for all residents to recycle their tree.- Place your tree curbside the same day as your regular service. For multi-family with bin service, trees can be left in the enclosure area.- Remove all decorations (ornaments, tinsel, etc.) and metal or plastic plant stands (wooden tree stands may be left on the tree). Flocked trees are okay.- Do not place your tree in a bag.- Trees over six feet (6′) tall  (7′ for Gardena residents) must be cut in half. Trees will be picked up on the following days, on your regular service day, starting December 26, 2025

FOR GARDENA RESIDENTS ONLYRecycle your confidential documents safely and conveniently at Gardena’s upcoming paper shredding event.  This is your chance to shred: documents containing social security numbers credit card and bank information and statements cancelled or unused checks insurance and income tax records receipts When: Saturday, October 11, 2025; 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Where:  Rowley Park (13220 Van Ness Ave) All paper will be shredded onsite. Rates Set to Increase July 1

ALL CUSTOMERS:  Per the terms of our Franchise Agreements with the cities of Carson, Gardena, Glendale, Hawaiian Gardens, and Lynwood, WR is permitted to adjust customer rates by certain metrics and indexes, effective July 1 of each year.  Based on these metrics, WR’s customers will be seeing new rates effective July 1, 2025.
