Carson Rate Increase

CARSON CUSTOMERS:  Per the terms of the Franchise Agreement, WR is permitted to adjust customer rates by the CPI using March-to-March indexed values, effective July 1 of each year.   The total rate change, effective 71/1/22, for residential customers is $1 or less per month. For non-residential customers, the difference is less than $10/month for 1-3-1 commercial trash service. Click here for Carson Report  

Carson Clean Environment Week Spring 2022

FOR CARSON RESIDENTS ONLYCelebrate Earth Day by recycling your old electronics – computers, TVs, copiers, VCRs, cell phones, DVD and Blu-Ray players, and microwaves – and commit to caring for the environment. You can also recycle your confidential documents safely and conveniently at this event. All paper will be shredded onsite. Shredding may end before 12:00 p.m. if paper capacity is reached early. Proof of Carson residency required.NO commercial or business waste will be accepted.Limit three (3) file/paper boxes per resident for shredding.Limit five (5) items/systems per account for e-waste.

Carson Fall 2021 Clean Environment Week

 Carson residents can take advantage of two opportunities to celebrate America Recycles Say (November 15). The first is a paper shredding and electronics recycling event on Saturday, October 16 , 2021, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the City Hall parking lot (701 E. Carson Street). See the attached flyer for details. From October 11 to 15, 2021 ONLY, on your regular service day, residential cart customers have the opportunity to set out up to three 30-gallon bags each of trash, recycling, and greenwaste at no additional charge, as well as up to four bulky/e-waste items.
