Coming Soon! 2024 Carson Senior Sign Ups

The enrollment period for Carson’s senior discount will start on April 15, 2024. Because trash is charged on the property tax bill, you must participate in this annual enrollment process in order to receive the discount. Renewals must be postmarked by May 15, 2024. New applications must be postmarked by May 31, 2024.  Any renewals/applications postmarked after these dates may not be accepted for the 2024-25 tax year. 2023-24 Holiday Tree Recycling Dates Set

We make it easy for all residents to recycle their tree.- Place your tree curbside the same day as your regular service. For multi-family with bin service, trees can be left in the enclosure area.- Remove all decorations (ornaments, tinsel, etc.) and metal or plastic plant stands (wooden tree stands may be left on the tree). Flocked trees are okay.- Do not place your tree in a bag.- Trees over six feet (6′) tall  (7′ for Gardena residents) must be cut in half. Trees will be picked up on the following days, on your regular service day:Carson: December 26, 2023 –

Rate Increases set for July 1

ALL CUSTOMERS:  Per the terms of our Franchise Agreements with the cities of Carson, Gardena, Glendale, Hawaiian Gardens, and Lynwood, WR is permitted to adjust customer rates by certain metrics and indexes, effective July 1 of each year.  Based on these metrics, WR’s customers will be seeing new rates effective July 1, 2023. Carson Rate Increase

CARSON CUSTOMERS:  Per the terms of the Franchise Agreement, WR is permitted to adjust customer rates by the CPI using March-to-March indexed values, effective July 1 of each year.   The total rate change, effective 71/1/22, for residential customers is $1 or less per month.
