Beginning in March 2024, Waste Resources (WR) will be offering Gardena residents another chance to dispose of unwanted bulky items free of charge.
WR will collect unwanted materials on one day over five Saturdays at the curb. If your regular service is in the alley, your bulky items need to be placed at the curb, not in the alley. A resident’s day will correspond to their regular collection day:

Gardena residents are still eligible to receive free bulky item pickups throughout the year, with a limit of three cubic yards per pickup per quarter (read more about that here). Additional items or pickups are subject to fees.
