2024-25 Holiday Tree Recycling Dates Set

We make it easy for all residents to recycle their tree.- Place your tree curbside the same day as your regular service. For multi-family with bin service, trees can be left in the enclosure area.- Remove all decorations (ornaments, tinsel, etc.) and metal or plastic plant stands (wooden tree stands may be left on the tree). Flocked trees are okay.- Do not place your tree in a bag.- Trees over six feet (6′) tall (7′ for Gardena residents) must be cut in half. Trees will be picked up on the following days, on your regular service day, starting December 26, 2024

Glendale to Host Four Compost Giveaways in 2024

The City of Glendale hosts free compost giveaway events throughout the year for its residents. In 2024, events will be on March 9, April 13, September 14, and October 12. All events are at the Lot 30 Parking Lot at 1255 N. Verdugo Rd from 8am-12pm, rain permitting. More information available on the City’s page or by emailing [email protected].
