2023-24 Holiday Tree Recycling Dates Set

We make it easy for all residents to recycle their tree.- Place your tree curbside the same day as your regular service. For multi-family with bin service, trees can be left in the enclosure area.- Remove all decorations (ornaments, tinsel, etc.) and metal or plastic plant stands (wooden tree stands may be left on the tree). Flocked trees are okay.- Do not place your tree in a bag.- Trees over six feet (6′) tall (7′ for Gardena residents) must be cut in half. Waste Resources continues to roll out programs to meet the requirements of new California regulations (SB 1383) with the addition of recycling and mixed organics recycling carts for all commercial customers in Lynwood. Lynwood Adds Blue Cart Recycling Service

To meet the requirements of new California regulations (SB 1383), customers in Lynwood will start seeing improvements to recycling programs over the next year. The first, and most visible, improvement is the addition of carts for the separation of dry recyclables such as clean paper, bottles and cans, glass, and some metals.
