Glendale to Host Four Compost Giveaways in 2025

The enrollment period for Carson’s senior discount will start on April 15, 2025. Because trash is charged on the property tax bill, you must participate in this annual enrollment process in order to receive the discount. Renewals must be postmarked by May 15, 2025. New applications must be postmarked by May 31, 2025.  Any renewals/applications postmarked after these dates may not be accepted for the 2025-26 tax year. 2024-25 Holiday Tree Recycling Dates Set

We make it easy for all residents to recycle their tree.- Place your tree curbside the same day as your regular service. For multi-family with bin service, trees can be left in the enclosure area.- Remove all decorations (ornaments, tinsel, etc.) and metal or plastic plant stands (wooden tree stands may be left on the tree). Flocked trees are okay.- Do not place your tree in a bag.- Trees over six feet (6′) tall  (7′ for Gardena residents) must be cut in half. Trees will be picked up on the following days, on your regular service day, starting December 26, 2024

Semi-Annual Cleanup Starts in Gardena on Sept. 28
