2024-25 Holiday Tree Recycling Dates Set

We make it easy for all residents to recycle their tree.- Place your tree curbside the same day as your regular service. For multi-family with bin service, trees can be left in the enclosure area.- Remove all decorations (ornaments, tinsel, etc.) and metal or plastic plant stands (wooden tree stands may be left on the tree). Flocked trees are okay.- Do not place your tree in a bag.- Trees over six feet (6′) tall (7′ for Gardena residents) must be cut in half. Trees will be picked up on the following days, on your regular service day, starting December 26, 2024

Semi-Annual Cleanup Starts in Gardena on Sept. 28

Beginning in September 2024, Waste Resources (WR) will be offering Gardena residents another chance to dispose of unwanted bulky items free of charge. WR will collect unwanted materials on one day over five Saturdays at the curb. If your regular service is in the alley, your bulky items need to be placed at the curb, not in the alley.
