It’s almost Fall, so that means it’s time to get the garden ready for winter with compost.
When: Saturday, September 14, 2024; 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., or while supplies last
Where: on Civic Center Dr., between Juan Ave. and Joliet Ave.
MUST be a Hawaiian Gardens resident (bring photo ID and utility bill)
SELF-SERVE event (shovels will be provided if you don’t bring one)
First come, first serve
Drive-up only (no walk-ins)
Bring your own containers or buckets (no bags)
Limit 50 gallons per vehicle
NO trailers or commercial vehicles; rentals limited to pick-up trucks only
