With studies indicating a majority of abused prescription drugs come from family and friends, including from home medicine cabinets, clearing out unused medicine is essential. For 10 years, the DEA has worked with local, state, and federal agencies to collect tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid forms of prescription drugs. The next nationwide collection date is scheduled for April 30 from 10am-2pm. The next phase of the franchised services rollout for Glendale continues in late March with the delivery of a recycling cart and/or mixed organics cart.
