With studies indicating a majority of abused prescription drugs come from family and friends, including from home medicine cabinets, clearing out unused medicine is essential. For 10 years, the DEA has worked with local, state, and federal agencies to collect tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid forms of prescription drugs. After much consideration, Waste Resources has made the difficult decision to end all services in the Unincorporated Areas of LA County, effective December 31, 2021.  Customers affected by this decision have received notification by mail, email, or both.  We will continue to service these customers until their last day of service the last week of December.  Our containers will be removed at that time, or soon thereafter, so customers are encouraged to secure service from another hauler that begins before then.
