Semi-Annual Cleanup Starts in Gardena on March 16

Beginning in March 2024, Waste Resources (WR) will be offering Gardena residents another chance to dispose of unwanted bulky items free of charge. 2023-24 Holiday Tree Recycling Dates Set

We make it easy for all residents to recycle their tree.- Place your tree curbside the same day as your regular service. For multi-family with bin service, trees can be left in the enclosure area.- Remove all decorations (ornaments, tinsel, etc.) and metal or plastic plant stands (wooden tree stands may be left on the tree). Flocked trees are okay.- Do not place your tree in a bag.- Trees over six feet (6′) tall (7′ for Gardena residents) must be cut in half. Since Jan. 1, 2022, all residents, businesses, and multi-family properties are required to recycle organics and dry material. WR’s three-container system makes compliance easy.
